Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a self-motivated outside industrial sales professional to manage a defined geographic territory by calling on businesses, delivering product demonstrations, and maintaining the mobile store.

The role requires residency within the territory south of I-20, a clean driving record, and the ability to purchase or lease an approved vehicle. You will report on daily activity and strive to meet or exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and calling on nearby businesses.
  • Make face-to-face calls on cold and warm prospects to generate sales.
  • Service customers following company training materials and maintain detailed activity reports.
  • Present products via demos, samples, and the mobile store.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the mobile store and update customer data in the system.

Job Description

This sales position will provide various types of industrial hardware directly to customers within a defined geographic territory through cold‑calling and prospecting activities. Candidates must reside within the territory and live south of I‑20.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other Duties May Be Assigned)
  • Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and calling on businesses in close proximity to existing customers.
  • Make face‑to‑face calls on cold and warm sales prospects.
  • Service customers in the manner outlined in company training materials.
  • Submit complete and accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls.
  • Present products and services to existing and prospective customers using sample boards, product demos, and the mobile store.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of the mobile store.
  • Continuously update customer contact information using company software, including notes, names, phone numbers, email addresses, and current physical addresses.
  • Provide an approved, fully insured vehicle, along with insurance, fuel, maintenance, and necessary technological tools such as mobile devices (tablets, iPads, phones).
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to improve job‑related skills.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Outside industrial sales experience preferred, especially in route or industrial sales.
  • Proven history of goal attainment.

  • Clean driving history.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner when representing the company, e.g., driving an approved vehicle, wearing company attire, and representing company functions.
