Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the attainment of company revenue goals and profitability in assigned geographic territory.
- Develop, and execute a territory plan that leverages our key accounts, distribution, and Independent Representative channel to effectively achieve revenue goals.
- Partner with product and sales management to identify, develop and execute on revenue generating marketing strategies to gain market share in assigned territory.
- Provide appropriate in-service / training support leveraging appropriate online tools and virtual resources as required to maximize Nonin’s reach and profitability.
- Establish effective relationships and accountability with Independent and Distribution Partner Representatives to continually increase and sustain performance.
- Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of Nonin Medical and competitive product.
- Provide accurate 30-60-90-day forecast using assigned forecast tool.
- Maintain weekly and monthly reports as required by management, including accurate and up to date information on direct accounts, Distributor, and Independent Representatives.
- Share market and channel feedback to product marketing management and sales leadership.
- Develop proposals and price quotations for a variety of healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, biomedical engineers, and administrators.
- Manage complex contract negotiations with direct customers, consult on pricing negotiations for distribution partners and IDN’s in the assigned territory.
- Respond and resolve customer/distribution network questions and concerns in a timely manner.
- Attend clinical meetings, seminars, and tradeshows as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of sales experience or equivalent in medical device sales selling to hospitals, clinics, homecare, or EMS
- Strong conceptual and consultative strategic selling skills
- Proven track record of sales excellence
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experienced with in-service/training on product use
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plans through direct and indirect sales channels
- Ability to influence without authority
- Professional and positive approach with a strength in building relationships
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Experience with online sales tools, CRM , and Microsoft suite of products.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- An understanding of the patient monitoring market, including trends, technologies, products, and players.
- Experienced in negotiations with executive administration levels, i.e., CFO, CIO, CEO, CMO.
- Clinical knowledge in cardiopulmonary, critical care and cardiovascular surgery, physician office, EMS and or homecare
Physical Requirements:
- Sit, and/or stand 8 hours/day.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time.
