Job summary

The Carlyle Group is seeking an Internal Sales Associate for its Global Wealth team in New York. The role focuses on outbound outreach to financial advisors, developing relationships, and supporting the External Regional Specialist and Internal Analyst with client service-related activities.

Applicants should have 4–5 years of sales/marketing experience, a college degree, and FINRA licenses (7 and 63) or be prepared to obtain them within 90 days.

Qualifications

• College degree required.
• Minimum GPA 3.30.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 required (or must be obtained within 90 days).
• 4–5 years of prior Sales/Marketing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of financial services, especially alternative investments, a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Make proactive outbound calls to financial advisors within the territory to trigger meetings for the External Regional Specialist.
• Follow up on incoming leads and respond to inquiries from advisors.
• Serve as first line of defense for client service issues with internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team to develop and execute a territory business plan.
• Assist with administrative duties and maintain CRM activity in DealCloud.
