Job summary

Shield Healthcare seeks a Territory Sales Representative in California to cover accounts across the state, driving revenue growth through new business development, relationship expansion, and in-service presentations.

The role manages the full sales cycle, coordinates with internal teams, and reports activity weekly. Travel up to 75% is required; performance targets include 8–10 customer meetings daily and achieving sales goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years sales experience with a proven track record.
• Up to 75% travel within territory and to events.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams).
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Excellent presentation skills with ability to train external/internal stakeholders.
• Proven track record of developing new accounts.
• Ability to sell a service as well as promoting product lines.

Responsibilities

• Assess opportunities and threats in the territory.
• Qualifies and quantifies revenue potential in each account.
• Plans and implements weekly sales activities.
• Maximize revenue potential in key accounts.
• Meets new business quotas.
• Resolves customer service issues in accounts.
• Presents contracts using corporate pricing strategies.
• Maintains contracts to maximize revenue.
• Reports account activity weekly in Sales Management Software.
• Demonstrates products at in-services and trade shows.
• Submit month-end report outlining activities and market changes.
