Job summary

Sysco, a leading foodservice distributor, is seeking an experienced Sales Professional/Restaurant/Culinary Manager or Chef for outside sales. You will promote Sysco products, develop new business, and manage relationships with accounts to achieve sales and profit goals.

The role may require evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customer needs. Opportunity includes career pathing, specialized sales training, and a robust benefits package including stock purchase and a 401(k) with matching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline, or 3 years related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance as required by policy.
• Residence in or relocation to the territory is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Qualify prospects and build a pipeline aligned to territory objectives.
• Research customer needs and tailor product/service mixes accordingly.
• Explain products, prices, availability, and usage to customers.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events; represent Sysco professionally.
• Prepare sales budgets, quotes, and reports; maintain records and follow up on credits and orders.
• Participate in trainings and meetings and assist with training of new staff.
