Job summary

Sysco, a leading foodservice distributor, seeks an experienced outside sales professional to cover Pearland, Missouri City, and South Houston within a 30-mile radius. The role emphasizes building relationships with new and existing accounts while meeting sales and profit goals.

The position may require non-traditional hours (evening, weekends, holidays) to serve customers effectively, with opportunities for career development within Sysco’s World Class Sales Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HSD/GED with 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent.
• Bi-Lingual preferred; Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales or Chef experience suggests plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business within the assigned territory.
• Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
• Research customer business needs and tailor a mix of products and services.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products based on business needs and goals.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, and meetings.
• Prepare sales budgets, reports, and quotes; maintain sales records.
• Participate in training and company functions.
