Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking an Outside Food Sales Representative in Lancaster County, PA to cultivate relationships, develop new business, and provide innovative solutions for customers. You will manage a sales territory, pursue new customers, and deepen existing relationships through regular visits and reviews.

Training is provided during the initial period, including e-learning and hands-on mentorship, with opportunities to grow within a dynamic, family-operated food distribution company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree or culinary certificate is preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience is expected.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Food safety certification ability is required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Pursue and develop new customers within your assigned territory.
• Deepen and strengthen relationships with existing customers through regular visits and reviews.
• Manage sales territory by coordinating visits and communicating order status to customers.
• Participate in training programs and learn Gordon Food Service systems and products to better serve customers.
