Job summary

Gordon Food Service seeks an Outside Food Sales Representative in Alpharetta, GA. You will cultivate new business, manage relationships, and drive sales within your territory through strategic outreach and ongoing customer training.

You’ll participate in comprehensive training and leverage tools to maximize territory performance, while balancing new customer acquisition with service excellence for existing accounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain your food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Pursuing new customers, researching industry trends, and presenting strategies to prospective clients.
• Deepening and strengthening relationships with existing customers; conducting business reviews and training.
• Managing sales territory; coordinating visits and communicating order status to customers.
• Participating in onboarding and training to master company systems and sales processes.
