Job summary

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is seeking a Resident Service Mechanic to service and repair industrial and construction equipment in the field. You will troubleshoot at customer locations, communicate progress with sales and management, and work with minimal supervision to minimize downtime while maintaining safety.

The position emphasizes mechanical aptitude, dependability, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of mechanical training or related experience.
• Possessing or ability to obtain a complete line of tools including specialized tools for customer sites.
• Minimum 21 years of age and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment at customer locations to return units to operation and safety standards.
• Communicate downtime and job progress with Sales, Coordinators, Managers, and Customers.
• Operate safely and efficiently with minimal supervision to reduce equipment downtime.
• Maintain safety standards on-site and when operating company vehicles.
