Job summary

Axle Funding is seeking a field-based Sales Executive to build and deepen dealer relationships while expanding the company’s footprint in assigned markets. This role focuses on in-person activity rather than inside sales, with frequent visits to dealerships and auto auctions and limited remote admin tasks.

You will manage a busy pipeline, pursue new business via cold calls, referrals, and networking, present floorplan financing products, and coordinate onboarding with internal teams to activate

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales and building dealer relationships.
• Knowledge of prospecting methods (cold calls, field visits, referrals).
• Willingness to travel daily within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume pipeline of dealer relationships in a dense market.
• Conduct frequent in-person visits to dealerships and auctions to drive deal flow.
• Generate new business through prospecting and networking.
• Present and sell Axle Funding’s floorplan financing products.
• Maintain an in-market presence with dealer visits and auction attendance.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective dealers and convert to activated accounts.
• Coordinate dealer onboarding and collaborate with internal teams for activation.
• Document dealer activity and opportunities in CRM.
