Job summary

Holt of California is seeking a sales professional to sell construction rental equipment and services in the Stockton/Salida, CA area. You will develop relationships with customers, pursue leads, and organize territory to maximize rental volume.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent and at least one to two years of related experience, including driving a clean DMV record. Wage range is $75,000–$105,000 yearly, with on-site work and standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Develop business relationships with customers to generate rental volume.
• Pursue leads from advertising, reports, telemarketing, job listings, references, and other sources.
• Organize territory and accounts to provide adequate sales coverage.
• Plan calls and track results using a daily planner.
• Log subcontractor information using jobsite forms.
• Develop new accounts monthly.
