Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated is seeking a Bulk Account Merchandiser to sell, order, and present beverages on assigned routes serving Rockingham, NC and surrounding areas. Mileage reimbursement is provided; schedule is five consecutive days incl. weekends with 5am starts.

Responsibilities include managing accounts, merchandising, inventory control, and building retailer relations to execute commercial plans and promotions daily.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs.).
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• High initiative and a willingness to learn.
• Career-minded and highly competitive by nature.
• In-state driver's license and clean driving history required.

Responsibilities

• Manage, sell, and execute for an assigned group of customers on daily routes.
• Implement promotions and new products based on marketing initiatives.
• Stock, merchandize and rotate products on shelves and displays.
• Organize back rooms, pallets, and damaged goods disposal.
• Create and distribute point-of-sale materials and rotate displays.
• Build and maintain relationships with store personnel and respond to requests.
