Job summary

You will advise students and families on the college search and application process, evaluate applications, and lead newer officers. This role supports enrollment goals and requires strong communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education.
• Minimum 2 years of recruitment and admissions experience with knowledge of transfer credit policies and financial aid programs.
• Comprehensive understanding of the admissions field.

Responsibilities

• Managing recruitment and admission activities for an assigned geographic territory, school group, and/or targeted student population.
• Presenting information about USC and the admission process at high schools, community colleges, and recruitment events nationwide.
• Advising prospective students and families regarding the college search, application, and selection process.
• Evaluating undergraduate admission applications using quantitative and qualitative criteria and making admission recommendations and decisions.
• Providing leadership, guidance, training, and direction to newer admission officers.
• Developing and implementing strategic initiatives that support USC's enrollment goals.
• Managing specialized program areas such as merit scholarship evaluation, multicultural recruitment, and outreach.
• Researching demographics of assigned recruitment territories and developing annual recruitment plans.
