Job summary

Northwest University is seeking an Admissions Counselor to recruit prospective students from a designated territory and guide them through the admissions process. You will serve as a front-line representative, delivering excellent customer service to prospective students, parents, influencers, and constituents in Kirkland.

The role requires building a recruitment plan, visiting schools and organizations, and collaborating with the Admissions Team to meet enrollment goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, communication, or related field.
• Two years’ experience in university admissions, marketing, or sales is desirable.
• Ability to adapt work hours to include evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of NWU mission, enrollment policies, scholarships, and campus life.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively build and manage a full portfolio of prospective students within a defined territory.
• Develop and implement a recruitment plan to meet enrollment goals.
• Visit high schools, community colleges, churches, and regional organizations to promote NWU.
• Meet with prospective students and families, give presentations, and facilitate admissions events.
• Review freshman, running start, and transfer applications; prepare transcript reviews and recommendations.
• Provide unofficial transcript evaluations for prospective students.
