Job summary

The University of Washington Bothell campus is seeking an Admissions Counselor to recruit and advise prospective undergraduate students, including transfers and first-year applicants, to meet undergraduate enrollment targets and strengthen UW Bothell's profile.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Admissions, you will lead recruitment events, advise students, review holistic applications, coordinate with academic programs, and ensure timely processing and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in education, communications, business, psychology, or related field.
• Experience in recruiting, advising, counseling or similar with diverse populations in education.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students through in-person meetings, group sessions, phone, email or web communications on majors, requirements, and opportunities.
• Develop and implement recruitment plans via on-site and virtual events, college fairs, visits and advising appointments.
• Review applications holistically, serve on Admissions Committees, and ensure timely processing and accurate records.
• Engage in ongoing outreach to meet enrollment goals and build UW Bothell relations with programs and external partners.
• Deliver campus tours and provide coverage at Welcome Desk as needed; participate in professional development and events.
