Territory Account Manager - Motion Service Pacific Northwest

Reporting To: Regional Sales Director - Service West

Your Role and Responsibilities

The Territory Account Manager - Motion Service Pacific Northwest will be responsible for planning and executing MOSE (Motion Business - Motion Service) Drives Service sales strategies in their assigned territory of the United States. Primary responsibilities include executing service sales plans and providing sales growth to achieve service sales goals specifically for the Drives Equipment Service team.

This role is based in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, with locations in California, Oregon, or Washington highly preferred. The work model for the role is: #LI - Remote.

You will mainly be accountable for:

  1. Collaborating across internal sales and marketing teams, as well as external channel distribution partners, to grow the service market for ABB Drives Service Division and uncover service sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
  2. Working with current customers to provide optimal service solutions in various service vertical markets related to VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) Service.
  3. Achieving targeted sales and profitability levels in existing markets while penetrating new markets to meet sales growth and profit goals.
  4. Monitoring progress against strategic and operational goals.

Team Dynamics: You will join a high-performing team, learning from SMEs and collaborating on customer resolutions and opportunities.

Qualifications for the Role
  • Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of work experience, OR Associate's Degree with 10 years of work experience, OR High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% within the territory (California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Washington).
  • Experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales, selling technical products or solutions to complex accounts. Experience in Industrial Automation and/or Drives is preferred.
  • Knowledge of variable frequency drives, electric motors, generators, and relevant service applications is highly preferred.
  • Must have valid work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
