Job summary

Electro-Matic, a SunSource company, seeks an Outside Sales Account Manager to develop and manage a high-potential Southeast Michigan territory. This role covers Farmington Hills, Detroit, Ann Arbor, and surrounding markets, with a home-based setup and travel within the territory.

You will manage the full sales cycle, engage with engineers, and present industrial automation solutions to improve customers' productivity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience in industrial automation or related field.
• Experience with Siemens industrial automation products strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in creating pricing proposals, quotes, and sales agreements.
• Strong business acumen and a consultative, solutions-based approach to sales.
• Excellent written, verbal, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand existing customer relationships within the assigned territory.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities.
• Travel throughout the territory to meet with customers.
• Prepare pricing proposals, quotes, and sales agreements.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline activity.
• Represent Electro-Matic at trade shows and industry events.
