Thales is hiring a Territory Account Manager (TAM) responsible for managing a territory and maximizing revenue for Thales products. The TAM detects and creates new opportunities within the assigned region and generates accurate sales forecasts. The role demands consistent revenue performance and growth, with revenue responsibilities ranging from $1M to $2M annually.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  1. Manage, develop, and grow strategic prospects and existing customer relationships.
  2. Identify, qualify, and quantify opportunities within the region and lead sales efforts.
  3. Develop and deliver technically correct sales presentations to potential customers.
  4. Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, including prospecting, developing customer relationships, and implementing account plans.
  5. Achieve revenue and growth targets.
  6. Collaborate with sales support and pre/post-sales teams to forecast, track opportunities, and close deals.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  2. 1 to 3 years of sales experience within the IT industry.
  3. Experience selling software products and/or subscription services, working directly with F2000 accounts.
  4. Experience managing all sales cycle aspects, including prospecting and account plan implementation.
  5. Experience with multi-element revenue models, including one-time and recurring revenue streams.
  6. Ability to close complex deals from opportunity discovery to contract completion.
  7. Ability to up-sell and proactively acquire new customers.
  8. Comfortable participating in technical discussions.
