Job summary

UCX in Canal Winchester, OH is seeking an Account Executive to drive revenue growth by developing new business and retaining existing customers within the Cincinnati and Dayton territories. You will manage pricing, quotes, and product displays while building strong relationships across customers and internal teams.

The position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and collaborates with Marketing, Credit, Operations, and Customer Service to meet gross sales, profit and margin goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of field sales experience with proven track record.
• BA/BS degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Previous experience in the flooring industry and/or distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual, quarterly, and monthly sales and profit goals by territory planning.
• Present new product programs and promote product categories to drive sales.
• Provide accurate prices and quotes for flooring products.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and contact customers via visits, phone, email and letters.
• Assist credit and claims with resolution of problems and adhere to policies.
• Coordinate with internal departments to manage price lists, delivery and related standards.
• Develop new accounts by researching customer needs, markets, and competition to grow the territory.
