Job summary

USA TODAY Co., Inc., via LocaliQ, is seeking an Integrated Media Specialist (Account Executive) to own the full sales cycle in a territory-based, hybrid role in Knoxville, TN. You will hunt net-new business and grow an existing client book.

You’ll partner with clients to tailor marketing strategies, connecting performance-driven digital solutions with the reach of the USA TODAY Network, and you’ll collaborate with internal teams to deliver measurable outcomes and renewals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B sales with new business or account growth.
• Full-cycle, consultative sales process from discovery to close.
• Strong prospecting across phone, email, social, networking.
• Experience using CRM and sales tools with disciplined pipeline management.
• Comfort discussing digital marketing solutions and ROI with clients.
• Proficiency with CRM, MS Office, and AI tools like Copilot/Perplexity.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Build a consistent prospecting cadence to develop a strong pipeline.
• Manage and grow a territory balancing new business, retention, and expansion.
• Lead discovery conversations to understand goals and challenges.
• Build and present data-informed proposals aligning strategy, tactics and budget.
• Own the full sales cycle from outreach to close with accurate CRM activity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support client outcomes.
• Maintain post-sale engagement through reporting, optimization, and renewals.
