Job summary

Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, LLC seeks a Terrain Park Manager to lead design, construction, and safe operation of all terrain parks. You will supervise staff, enforce Smart Style, and coordinate with Grooming, Snowmaking, and Ski Patrol to maintain premier park experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive park knowledge, and the ability to work long hours in alpine conditions. A valid driver's license is required and skiing or snowboarding is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of professional terrain park experience preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or management experience in a resort or related field preferred.
• Must be a skier or snowboarder and able to ride within all terrain parks.
• Thorough knowledge of terrain park grooming techniques, construction best practices, and Smart Style principles.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work extended hours in an alpine environment (weekends/holidays).
• Physically demanding labor, including hiking and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, train, schedule, and supervise all Terrain Park staff.
• Enforce Smart Style guidelines and resort safety protocols.
• Perform daily feature inspections and risk assessments; communicate safety issues with Ski Patrol.
• Design, layout, and construct terrain park features for all ability levels.
• Oversee daily maintenance of park features (run-ins, take-offs, landings).
• Coordinate park construction and maintenance with Grooming, Snowmaking, Ski Patrol, and management.
• Manage safety signage, fencing, and trail markings.
• Provide support to other Mountain Operations departments as needed.
• Patrol the park to monitor conditions and ensure guest safety and service.
• Manage the department budget, inventory, and daily documentation.
