Job summary

URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a Design Services Assistant to support container design projects, in-store and private events, and installation logistics.

You will assist with staging, movement of products, and maintaining safety and back-of-house standards, working outdoors in various weather conditions.

The role requires teamwork with Design Managers and Leads, flexibility in hours, and a commitment to welcoming customers through well-executed installations.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service.
• Creative thinking and problem solving ability.
• Basic knowledge and skill of power tools.
• Ability to lift in excess of 75lbs and push/pull 100lbs daily.
• Willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Flexible hours to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Manages day to day logistics, pulls product for jobs, maintains plants and product as needed.
• Assists with the physical arrangement and tear down of residential installations and on/off-site events.
• Supports cleanup and breakdown on the job site.
• Enjoys outdoor work in varying weather, stays positive and helpful to others.
• Assists leadership in maintaining back of house standards.
• Adheres to safety, inventory accuracy, and company policy to support store profitability.

Role Summary

In collaboration with the Design Manager and Design Leads, the Design Services Assistant supports the container design projects and private events in-store, off-site, and in private residential settings. They support the operational tasks of project installations for Design Services. They play a key part of the installation process through the staging and movement of products along with other supplies needed for Design Services jobs. They uphold terrain’s four promises: to welcome, to inspire, to inform and to appreciate our customer.

Role Responsibilities

• Manages day to day logistics, pulls product needed for jobs, maintains plants and product as needed
• Assists with the physical arrangement and tear down of residential installations as well as on and off-site events
• Supports with clean up and break down on the job site
• Enjoys working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, contributing to the installation experience by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others
• Assists leadership team in maintaining back of house standards
• Adheres to store’s safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store
