Job summary

The Tolowa Dee-ni’ Nation seeks a TERO Officer/Workforce Development Manager to lead tribal workforce programs, designing, implementing, and evaluating scalable initiatives that connect citizens with education, training, and employment opportunities.

You will oversee the Career Pathways Program, enforce TERO requirements, manage partnerships with employers and schools, and ensure budgets, performance metrics, and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 8 years progressive management experience required.
  • 5+ years tribal government experience preferred.
  • 3+ years project/program management experience required.
  • 1+ year workforce development experience required.
  • 1+ year supervisory experience required.
  • Must possess/obtain CA or OR Class C driver license.

Responsibilities

  • TERO administration and enforcement across programs.
  • Oversee youth and adult Workforce Development programs.
  • Design, develop, implement, and evaluate scalable programs.
  • Manage budget, grants, and fiscal resources.
  • Coordinate partnerships with employers, educators, and community organizations.
  • Conduct investigations and ensure program compliance.
