Job summary

Terminix International in Columbus, OH is seeking a Termite Technician to protect customers' properties from wood-destroying organisms. You will perform inspections, treatments, and preventative services as the first line of defense against termite activity.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and strong attention to detail. You’ll work outdoors in varying conditions and communicate clearly with customers to ensure peace of mind.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• 1+ year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (provided).
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).

Responsibilities

• Identify termite problems and know termite behaviors to determine steps.
• Perform termite treatment services safely per guidelines.
• Apply anti-termite treatments to structures as scheduled and per label.
• Explain conditions conducive to termite activity to customers.
• Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order.
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
• Complete production forms documenting services.
• Interact with customers and explain services provided.
