Job summary

Dodson Pest Control is seeking a motivated technician to diagnose pest issues and deliver professional pest management services in residential and light commercial settings in West Columbia, SC. You will apply pesticides safely, adhere to state regulations, and provide excellent customer service.

Experience is helpful but not required; comprehensive training is provided. A valid driving record and ability to work with limited supervision are essential, with occasional Saturday work possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
• Willingness to attend and complete scheduled training and become registered/licensed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose pest issues in residential and commercial settings.
• Provide pest management services to customers professionally.
• Maintain customer service orientation at all times.
• Apply pesticides safely and in accordance with label and state regulations.
• Be willing to attend scheduled training and obtain necessary licensing.
• Be flexible with work hours, including occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Inspect and diagnose pest issues in both residential and commercial settings
• Provide Pest Management services to residential and commercial customers in a professional manner
• Be customer service oriented at all times
• Apply pesticides in safely and effectively in accordance with the label and State regulations
• Willingness to attend and complete all scheduled training and to become a registered technician or certified and/or licensed applicator.
• Willingness to adjust standard work schedule to meet the needs of our customers, which may require occasional Saturday work

Qualifications for this position include:

• High school diploma or GED
• Acceptable driving record and background check
• Ability to work effectively with limited supervision
• Ability to access physically restrictive areas and areas of significant height, with or without accommodation
