Job summary

Dodson Pest Control is seeking a diligent PC Technician in Charleston, WV to inspect and diagnose pest issues in homes and businesses, and to provide professional pest management services. Training will be provided to become a registered technician or licensed applicator.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a clean driving record, and the ability to work with limited supervision. Some Saturdays may be required to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Acceptable driving record and background check.
• Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
• Ability to access physically restrictive areas and areas of significant height, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose pest issues in residential and commercial settings.
• Provide Pest Management services to residential and commercial customers professionally.
• Maintain customer-service orientation at all times.
• Apply pesticides safely and effectively per label and state regulations.
• Attend and complete scheduled training to become a registered technician or licensed applicator.
• Occasionally adjust work schedule to meet customer needs, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Inspect and diagnose pest issues in both residential and commercial settings
• Provide Pest Management services to residential and commercial customers in a professional manner
• Be customer service oriented at all times
• Apply pesticides in safely and effectively in accordance with the label and State regulations
• Willingness to attend and complete all scheduled training and to become a registered technician or certified and/or licensed applicator.
• Willingness to adjust standard work schedule to meet the needs of our customers, which may require occasional Saturday work
