Job summary

Dodson Pest Control is hiring a Full Time Pest Control Technician in Richmond, VA. The role includes inspecting and diagnosing pest issues, delivering pest management services, and maintaining customer service standards.

The position may start hourly and transition to production/commission, with average earnings around $48,000 per year. A training program is provided and advancement to licensed applicator is encouraged.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose pest issues in residential and commercial settings.

• Apply pesticides safely and effectively per label and state regulations.
• Willingness to attend scheduled training and become registered/licensed.
• Willingness to adjust standard work schedule to meet customer needs (occasional Saturdays).

The Pest Control Technician position may begin as an hourly paid position and after training change to a production/commission arrangement. Average earnings on this arrangement are $48,000 per year.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Inspect and diagnose pest issues in both residential and commercial settings
• Provide Pest Management services to residential and commercial customers in a professional manner
• Be customer service oriented at all times
• Apply pesticides in safely and effectively in accordance with the label and State regulations
• Willingness to attend and complete all scheduled training and to become a registered technician or certified and/or licensed applicator.
• Willingness to adjust standard work schedule to meet the needs of our customers, which may require occasional Saturday work
