- Identify customers' termite problems and assess termite behaviors and habits
- Determine appropriate remedial steps
- Perform termite treatment services safely according to company guidelines and standard practices
- Apply anti-termite treatments according to schedules, safety procedures, and label instructions
- Communicate conditions conducive to termite activity
- Discuss procedures and structural modifications supplemental to treatment
- Verify job specifications for each work order
- Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment
- Complete production forms documenting services provided
- Interact with customers and explain services provided
- Prepare job sites for treatment
- Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb structures, stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
- Perform frequent sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license from state of residence
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Termite control experience is a plus
- Clean-shaven face for respirator seal safety
- Ability to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations; covered by the company
- Basic math skills, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to follow product-label mixing instructions
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to tolerate seasonal weather, damp and dusty locations
- Ability to work on roofs and high areas, including 20 feet up on a ladder
- Ability to work in confined spaces and narrow aisles or passageways
- Ability to wear required PPE, including an OSHA-compliant respirator
- General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter, or attic experience is a plus
