Job summary

Kinder Morgan Inc. seeks a Project Manager to lead multiple terminal projects across capital, sustaining, and regulatory domains.

You will coordinate engineering, scheduling, procurement, construction oversight, and commissioning, while ensuring safety and environmental compliance. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, managing contractors and vendors through full project lifecycles, and aligning with Operations, EHS, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Petroleum, or Chemical) or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of progressively responsible project management experience in industrial, terminal, marine, petrochemical, bulk material handling, energy, pipeline, storage, or related infrastructure facilities.
• Experience in design, scheduling, cost estimation, procurement, and field construction management.
• Working knowledge of regulations such as DOT, OSHA, EPA, PHMSA, and related agencies.
• Proficiency with Excel, MS Project/Visio, and related engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead as Project Leader to organize and direct efforts across capital, sustaining, reliability, regulatory compliance, and business development projects.
• Provide leadership through all phases: development, scope definition, engineering coordination, scheduling, estimating, procurement, construction oversight, commissioning and closeout.
• Coordinate with Operations, Commercial, Engineering, Maintenance, Project Execution, Inspection, and EHS to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant delivery.
• Oversee internal and external engineering, construction, inspection, and consulting resources.
• Plan, schedule, and manage multiple projects ensuring commercial, operational, safety, environmental, and regulatory objectives are met.
