Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking an executive level leader to oversee eight liquid bulk terminal operations in the Midwest. You will manage 160 employees across locations, drive safety programs, and coordinate with the commercial group to grow the business while maintaining margins.

Qualifications

• Heavy background in the DOT petroleum and petrochemical, bulk terminal industry required.
• Strong project management skills.
• Prior experience in running multiple sites and bulk/liquid handling facilities.
• Proven track record of leading an hourly workforce in an industrial setting.
• Prior experience managing and maintaining bulk liquid handling assets along with Marine operations.
• Prior experience managing customer relationships as it relates to quantitative service management.
• Solid knowledge of PC systems and related Company applications.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and properly set priorities.
• Detailed and customer-oriented; able to take initiative and work with others in accomplishing defined goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership, team building, analytical, strong communication (oral and written), and excellent organizational skills.
• Successful completion of a drug screen and background check upon offer.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record satisfactory to the company.
• Successfully obtain and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) card.

Responsibilities

• Lead eight liquid bulk terminal operations in the Midwest with 160 employees across sites.
• Oversee safety programs, environmental permitting, and union negotiations.
• Manage service, maintenance, and capital and DOT assets.
• Drive growth and develop business with commercial group support.
• Foster customer relations using a quantitative, quality-based approach.
• Provide budgeting, forecasting, and KPI-driven performance for each facility.
• Develop and adjust processes to meet KPIs for inbound/outbound operations.
• Hire, train, and manage staffing levels; provide regular feedback.
