Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Three years of freight handling, cross-dock, warehouse, transload or transportation ops.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture through regular safety discussions and procedures.
• Supervise daily dock, yard, crane, and trailer movement operations.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop Heavy Equipment Operators.
• Conduct coaching and performance discussions to drive improvement.
• Plan daily work activities based on commitments and resources.
• Ensure freight handling meets customer requirements and procedures.
• Oversee operation of forklifts, cranes, and yard equipment.
• Review shipment docs and instructions before work begins.
• Serve as primary operations contact for agents, customers, drivers, and internal departments.
• Resolve service disruptions, cargo discrepancies, and safety issues.
• Maintain photos, seal information, inspections, and records.
• Support compliance with policies and cargo security requirements.
• Monitor performance and identify efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance to keep operations ready.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Support growth by evaluating capacity and resources.
• Collaborate with facility leadership and customers to meet goals.
• Support emergency relief coverage as required.
• Attend department and safety meetings; perform other duties as assigned.
