Job summary

Sunoco LP in Roseville, MN is seeking a Terminal Operator (0-6 months) to manage receipt and shipment of petroleum products by pipeline, railcar and truck. You will unload fuels, support safety, and ensure accurate inventory processing under the Terminal Manager’s guidance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong verbal and written communication, and initiative to adapt to changing conditions; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent PC skills, with proficiency in Microsoft products.
• Safety training and hazard training preferred.
• Spill response training for pipeline/rack area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload via Truck Rack, Railcar, and Dock up to 75% of the time.
• Operate and monitor terminal equipment and valves to ensure product integrity.
• Use the Terminal Automation System to prepare inventory reports and rack activity reports.
• Forward daily inventory and accounting reports to customers.
• Provide customers with throughput and inventory information.
• Sample and analyze product as instructed by Terminal Manager.
• Train new drivers and ensure familiarity with automation and safety features.
• Conduct safety watches with outside contractors as advised by Terminal Manager.
• Maintain terminal cleanliness and equipment in good working order.
• Adapt to changing conditions and support environmental and safety compliance.
