Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Terminal Operator in the New York area to load and unload rail cars, barges and trucks, and to maintain terminal equipment with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, basic computer skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and SAP. You’ll work on site at multiple locations and contribute to efficient, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of work experience in terminal operations or related surface transport.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Experience with customer service and equipment operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
• Operate and maintain terminal equipment.
• Load/unload materials for rail, waterway, and road transport.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and inventory records.
• Perform clerical tasks related to receipts, shipments and inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.
