Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Terminal Operator to support loading/unloading at the terminal and ensure accurate records and safe operating practices. You will work with rail, waterway and road transport, operate loading equipment, and assist with maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience, a valid driver's license, and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and SAP). This role emphasizes reliability, safety, and teamwork across locations.

Qualifications

• Work Experience: 1-3 years.
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License.
• Computer and Software Skills: Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Other: Experience with customer service and equipment operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Practice and promote safety in such way as including but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, utilizing appropriate PPE.

• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc.
• Carry out tasks related to loading/unloading material, both bulk and bagged, for rail, waterway, and road methods of transportation, as appropriate for the specific location.
• Understand and operate truck loading equipment.
• Operate and conduct general maintenance on mobile equipment and assist with general mechanical maintenance.
• Sample product from trucks and barges following company policies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records on all terminal equipment.
• Perform clerical functions following the established guidelines for the recording of receipts, shipments and inventory records.
• Other duties as assigned.
