Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have prior industrial operations work experience.
• Strong safety focus and follow facility safety requirements.
• Experience operating heavy equipment (bulldozer, conveyors, backhoe, cranes).
• Willing to cross-train to other positions.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong multitasking ability.
• Reliable with excellent attendance.
• Able to perform essential functions in coal transfer processing.
• Capable of climbing heights and working in confined spaces.
• Willing to encounter hazards in coal transfer processing.
• Good oral and written communication to relay operations data.
• Must wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Control or tend conveyors or conveyor systems that move materials from railcar, barge, truck or ship or products to and from stockpiles, processing station, department or vehicles.
• Controls the speed and routing of materials or products to ensure shift goals are met.
• Operation of select mobile equipment, which includes, backhoes, bulldozers and rubber-tired bucket loaders.
• General light clean-up and maintenance required in the operation of all equipment.
