Job summary

Amrize North America is hiring a Terminal Operator for our Des Moines Terminal in IA. You will safely operate equipment to load and unload rail cars, boats and trucks, ensuring order accuracy and efficient processing of requests.

We seek candidates with a High School diploma/GED, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and basic computer skills. Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office is a plus. Join us to support safe, reliable operations and a team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School diploma/GED
• Required Work Experience: 1-3 years
• Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic Knowledge about computers, Microsoft programs, and SAP preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to load/unload rail cars, boats, and trucks.
• Ensure order accuracy and expeditious processing of requests.
• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc.
• Communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, sales personnel, trucking firms and suppliers.
• Operate and conduct general maintenance on mobile equipment and assist with general mechanical maintenance.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
