Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Operator in Albuquerque, NM to perform hands-on operation of terminal equipment and daily functions as directed by management. You will load/unload barges and railcars, transfer products, sample and test materials, and ensure safe, accurate deliveries.

Candidates should have a High School diploma/GED and 1–3 years of experience; a mechanical background and welding skills are a plus. Safety protocols and PPE are required at all times.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School diploma/GED.
• Required Work Experience: 1-3 years
• Mechanical background and welding experience are desirable
• Courteous with customers
• Knowledge of cement, construction industry and integrated computer systems an asset
• Must follow safety protocols and wear PPE

Responsibilities

• Operate terminal equipment and daily terminal functions as directed by management.
• Unload barges/railcars and transfer products into silos.
• Ensure proper weights for loads and safe customer delivery.
• Troubleshoot terminal equipment failures.
• Maintain and inspect terminal buildings and equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Uphold health, safety and environmental policies.
