Why This Business

Join an established industrial materials organisation with significant operations across North America. The business places safety, operational discipline and continuous improvement at the center of its terminal network.

With a new Safety Supervisor joining the site, you’ll have an opportunity to build a strong partnership and shape the terminal’s safety and operations culture together.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead day‑to‑day terminal operations, driving performance across safety, quality, productivity, cost and working capital.
  • Manage rail intake and railcar release, slurry operations and the associated SLS plant.
  • Own operational KPIs, budgets and CAPEX plans while identifying and delivering measurable performance improvements.
  • Develop approximately eight process‑side employees through clear standards, training, performance management and effective workforce planning.
  • Coordinate with logistics, dispatch, sales, trucking and rail teams to align operations with forecast demand and maintain reliable customer service.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns, outages and operational issues, providing on‑call support and attending the site outside normal hours when required.
  • Partner with the Safety Supervisor to strengthen safety standards, environmental performance and operational accountability.
What You’ll Bring
  • A strong industrial operations and process background, including approximately five years’ experience leading teams.
  • Broad practical knowledge across production, maintenance, process or quality, with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues.
  • Experience in aggregates or a related industrial materials environment preferred; relevant chemical‑sector operations experience will also be considered.
  • The ability to coordinate material flow across terminal processes, logistics and transport functions; rail or slurry‑handling experience would be valuable.
