Air Products seeks a Terminal Supervisor for its Granite City facility to oversee distribution activities, lead a team of 18 drivers and 4 vehicle mechanics, ensure safety and DOT compliance, and collaborate with plant operations and customers. The role requires focus on safety, training, and operational efficiency in a heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of terminal operations and safety leadership preferred.
• Experience with DOT regulations and driver safety required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel monthly for driver safety observations.

Responsibilities

• Safety performance, Basic Safety Process Coach, mentor, and lead drivers.
• Engage team through formal and informal observations, site visits, ride-along and safety meetings.
• Work with resources to achieve efficiency targets in all areas.
• Coordinate with logistics for inventory management of the facility’s products.
• Use optimization tools to drive safety and distribution KPIs.
• Ensure timely deliveries in collaboration with logistics.
• Conduct customer site safety inspections for access and equipment needs.
• Complete incident reports and follow-up actions; liaison between drivers and other teams.
