Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor to support the Area Manager in terminal management, covering duties and responsibilities to ensure safe, efficient pipeline operations across stations and remote locations.

The role provides back-up coverage and develops leadership and managerial skills for future advancement. The position involves coordinating with Products Movement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and guiding staff through scheduling, training, and operational priorities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with managing people responsibilities, or other technical field a plus.
• 5–7 years of pipeline operations experience desirable including products movement, mechanical maintenance, lead responsibilities, and familiarity with environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise terminal or station operations within budget and staffing constraints.
• Assist in staff selection, promotions, salary changes, and disciplinary matters; provide training and motivation.
• Develop budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure compliance with approved staffing levels.
• Coordinate with departments and customers to optimize product delivery and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, IRS, and environmental regulations applicable to pipeline operations.
