Job summary

The Friedkin Group seeks a Supervisor, Terminal Operations to support Fleet Management by assigning driver workloads, managing inventory, and optimizing the SBU network to improve profitability. The role requires ensuring DOT compliance, coordinating daily operations, and leading driving teams to meet on-time delivery and safety standards.

The candidate should have a CDL-A, strong leadership and analytical abilities, and experience supervising transportation drivers under FMCSA regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Transportation, Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• High School Diploma required.
• 1–3 years supervisory experience preferred.
• 4–6 years transportation or related industry experience required.
• Experience managing transportation drivers in compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations required.
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations (HOS, pre-trip, inspections) required.
• Strong leadership, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assign work to driver associates and manage inventory levels to optimize operations.
• Ensure compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and maintain daily logs and trip reporting.
• Lead and support the fleet team to meet KPI targets and safety standards.
• Coordinate driver communications, payroll information, and policy updates.
• Prepare and analyze network reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure safe loading/unloading, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
