Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. seeks a Repairman to ensure a smooth flow of cement by maintaining terminal equipment and performing repairs as needed. You will unload vessels, load trucks, and keep accurate maintenance records while following safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of maintenance/terminal experience.
• Experience with customer service and equipment operation/maintenance; knowledge of cement manufacturing or logistics preferred; skills in welding, machine repair, and basic electricity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, and yard as needed.
• Load/unload material (bulk and bagged) for rail, waterway, and road transport.
• Operate truck loading equipment.
• Perform maintenance on terminal equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Sample product from trucks and barges per policies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records for terminal equipment.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on terminal equipment.
• Repair equipment promptly to minimize downtime.
• Load trucks to customer specifications within legal limits.
• Perform clerical duties for receipts, shipments, and inventory records.
• Contribute to health, safety, and environmental policy compliance.
