Ricardo Defense's Field Service department is expanding, and we have openings for Field Service Mechanics at various United States Army depots across the United States and outside the continental United States.

We seek skilled automotive mechanics capable of traveling to US Army Bases to install combat vehicle modifications and performance upgrades on the HMMWV or perform level one maintenance on the Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV). These mechanics should be strong troubleshooters with the ability to analyze automotive systems efficiently.

This is a 100% remote position, with candidates stationed at these bases for six months to a year. Ricardo Defense covers airfare, lodging, rental car, gas, and a daily per diem during assignments.

The starting salary for the Field Service Mechanic position is $60,000 annually, plus benefits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Installing, maintaining, and testing vehicle component upgrades
2. Identifying maintenance risks of equipment
3. Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing vehicle systems
4. Conducting installs and product testing for quality assurance
5. Using hand, air, and impact tools, general shop equipment, and following OSHA safety procedures

Requirements:

• Experience in government contracting or military service is a plus
• Preferred: 91B, 63B, or equivalent
• Technical certification or equivalent is preferred but not required
• Minimum of five years' experience in automotive or heavy equipment service/repair, including brakes, drivetrain, and suspension
• Ability to follow detailed procedures as dictated by Field Support Representatives
