Job Description

SCF Lewis and Clark Terminals is seeking a Laborer for our bulk terminals in Granite City, IL. In this position, you will perform various tasks to support daily operations at our rail, truck, and barge terminals.

What you'll be doing:

1. Carrying, dragging, and pulling wires, lines, and railcar door opener equipment
2. Working on the river apron and in the cargo holds of barges during loading and unloading
3. Assisting in crane signaling operations to lift and move cargo during standard stevedoring activities
4. Shoveling and sweeping while railcars or trucks unload products
5. Sledgehammering railcars

Additional Information

Candidates must:

• Regularly carry more than fifty pounds unassisted
• Read and write English to meet USCG regulatory requirements

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with a $2.00 pay differential for night shifts.
