Qualifications

• 5 years of transportation experience.
• Prior dispatch experience and team supervision.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver pay mechanics.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision and focus on execution.

Responsibilities

• Coach the dispatch team and translate TM vision into actions.
• Oversee daily dispatch execution and cost controls.
• Collaborate with TM to implement process changes for service and cost.
• Review dashboards and resolve issues with dispatch to reduce missed opportunities.
• Participate in driver retention and advocate for the operation.
• Support hiring decisions and ensure proper team size.
