Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking team members to assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks and railcars, and to perform routine maintenance on terminal equipment. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, inventory control, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

You will follow safety protocols, demonstrate mechanical aptitude, work well independently or in a team, and contribute to a high standard of safety and quality across our operations.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks and railcars.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of terminal equipment.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and inventory management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the terminal.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
What Are We Looking For
  • Mechanically inclined with strong aptitude for working with tools and equipment.

Conditions of Employment
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
  • Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.
Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
