Job summary

Heidelberg Materials US Cement LLC in Columbus, OH is hiring a terminal operator to run and monitor bulk cement terminal equipment, load and unload cement, and help ensure efficient material flow while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, mechanical, rail, construction, or heavy equipment environments (not just warehouse).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools for troubleshooting and basic repairs.
• Experience operating or working around heavy equipment, conveyors, or bulk material systems.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of equipment and daily operations.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
• Reliable work ethic with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Work Environment

This role works in an industrial terminal environment with exposure to weather, moving equipment, and varying noise levels. Personal protective equipment is provided and required. The position may involve physical activity such as climbing, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
