Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a mechanically inclined team member to assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks and railcars, and to perform routine maintenance and inspections of terminal equipment. You will ensure accurate documentation, maintain inventory, and uphold safety protocols while working both independently and as part of a team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks and railcars.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of terminal equipment.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and inventory management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the terminal.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

What Are We Looking For

Mechanically inclined with strong aptitude for working with tools and equipment.

Prior mechanical experience preferred, with demonstrated ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment.

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
