Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America in Chester, Virginia is seeking a terminal operator to load, unload and transfer bulk products, supporting safe, efficient terminal operations.

You will assist with daily operations, monitor equipment, maintain inventory and shipping records, and communicate with drivers and customers to ensure smooth flow. This hands-on role requires working outdoors, adapting to weather, and overtime or weekend shifts of 10–12 hours as needed.

What You\'ll Be Doing

• Load, unload, and transfer bulk products safely while following established procedures.
• Assist with daily terminal operations, including product movement and equipment monitoring.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance checks and routine housekeeping to help keep the facility clean and safe.
• Help monitor product handling activities and maintain accurate inventory and shipping records.
• Communicate with team members, customers, and drivers to support smooth terminal operations.
