Job summary

Hirschbach Motor Lines is seeking a Terminal Attendant to maintain cleanliness, organization, and functionality of the terminal facility. You will ensure a safe, well-maintained environment for drivers and staff, while assisting with terminal services and amenities on-site.

Responsibilities include cleaning terminal areas, light maintenance, and reporting issues. You will help keep amenities operational, support inventory needs, and uphold safety procedures in a fast-paced, on-site setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in facility maintenance, janitorial services, or customer service is a plus.

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all terminal areas including driver lounges, restrooms, showers, and common spaces.
• Perform light maintenance and cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, restocking supplies, and disposing of trash.
• Ensure that laundry facilities, vending machines, and other amenities are in working order and report issues to management.
• Assist drivers with facility-related needs, provide information on resources, and direct them to designated areas.
• Monitor the security and safety of the terminal by reporting hazards or suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel.
• Support inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when replenishment is needed.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures to ensure a secure environment for all terminal users.
